SPRING 2010 ROUNDUP
Monday, February 1st, 2010Over the weekend I spent HOURS looking through all the new designer collections from Spring 2010 New York Fashion Week…..(a little behind, i know). But inspiration is inspiration right? Here is a preview of my 4 favorite collections.
Balmain
Killed it….taking a sleek, vintage route into military mode. Huge-shouldered metal-epauletted military tailcoats, tattered tees, bullet belts, leather skirts, patchworked gold-sequined camouflage….and did I mention HUGE SHOULDERS! Love that.

Burberry Prorsum
We all associate Burberry with the iconic trench, but for Spring 2010 the look became a bit more young and glamorous. Using manly tones of camel and nude, the message was short, draped, and deluxe.

Rag & Bone
A staple favorite of mine for its classy, tailored workwear look. They stuck to their roots mixing English, military-school heritage with a utilitarian, made-in-America philosophy.

Charlotte Ronson
Classical meets street. ”Downtown ballerinas” if you will. Off-the-shoulder crop tops, acid-wash bodysuits, and powder-pink mesh leggings all made for a very fun-loving collection.
