We love our Bugaboo Bee5! The weather has been so beautiful the last few nights (hello summer!), so we’ve got to enjoy some evening walks with the kids before winding them down for bed at night. Sam and I often grumble about the crazy high cost of living here on the coast in Encinitas…but on nights like this when we get outside and walk around our neighborhood we are always reminded how truly beautiful it is and how lucky we are to be here. I can’t really imagine being anywhere else. Our Bee5 is the perfect stroller for walks like this and any other urban environment for that matter. The compact chassis and a one-hand, one-piece fold makes it easy to hop into a taxi or out of a train, making it an easy choice for urban adventurers with a newborn or toddler. The front wheels have been redesigned to provide additional stability and swivel maneuverability and the padded seat reverses, reclines and extends in just a few clicks. And the very best part is that it’s completely customizable – from the color of your seat fabric to your bassinet and extendable sun canopy. The changeable grips and wheel caps mean there are even more opportunities to show your style. I chose the all black colorway – chassis, seat fabric, sun canopy and grips. I tend to identify as a minimalist and always gravitate to neutral colors – black, grey, nude and white. Not only in my baby gear but also in my wardrobe and most everything else! Black is an easy choice for me in a stroller because it’s classic and timeless and I know it will match with everything. But if you are more of a color lover, the Bee 5 has a ton of fun color options like soft pink, sky blue, sunrise yellow, olive green…and even some fun print options in the mix. I used to think the bigger the better when it came to strollers. But now as a mom to (almost!) three, I’ve come to realize the more compact and easy to lift and fold, the better. It’s hard enough to wrangle your kids and get them where you need to go…your stroller shouldn’t be another thing to wrangle! It’s hard to imagine in a few short months we will have three babies to care for! I am so excited and a little nervous at the same time. But God doesn’t ever give us more than we can handle, so we are ready for this next chapter. We’ve been busy most weekends working on house projects. We totally re-did our kitchen and living room and we moved the kids into the same room and got them bunk beds. And then we are totally redesigning a new nursery for the babe. Nurseries are my favorite and I know this is the last chance I’ll get to design one, so I’m making it count. I have a feeling I will be working on it right up until she arrives…..but it’s a project I enjoy so it’s worth the effort! (my husband might disagree, haha). Can’t wait to share all the updates with you guys!
