I am aslo including these photos in my 52 Project – a portrait series of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2013.  Amidst the miscarriage and everything else going on right now, photos took the back seat last week.  I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out and wrote me a note of encouragement and offered up their prayers.  I felt them.  After a rough week, you guys certainly brightened my spirits.

I will be away from the blog for a few days because Sam and I fly out tonight for our first ever baby-free vacation to San Francisco! We are so excited! Sam is turning the big 3-0 and it is also our three anniversary…so there is lots to celebrate!  If you live in SF or know it well, I’m all ears to any advice on where to go & what to do while we are there!  Vintage shops? Food? Art districts? Eek! Can’t wait!
