Happy Fourth of July! Ok yes, we can all just take a minute at laugh at the basketball belly I have going on right now! I am 32 weeks….which means 8 more weeks to go!  Yeek! This outfit is (obviously) my attempt at being patriotic today.  My “turban” is actually just an old shirt cut up and knotted together…and my striped dress is from H&M years ago! I kind of liked how it really made my belly pop though. I don’t own very many things that give it this effect! haha!  No better time than now to own it I guess!

Our plans today include #1 – BEACH!  #2 – BBQ!  #3 – FIREWORKS!  I love summer!

Happy 4th! You look amazing in your outfit with that baby bump! I love the bright red lips, those shoesss and how you wore that scarf. Could you show us how you did that scarf on your head? I’d love to learn to do it myself!

    You look so pretty!
I have question for you I hope you can answer. :)
I really really want to know if you keep bleaching and dying your hair while pregnant, is it bad for the baby?
My hair is almost platinum blond now, but I wonder if I’ll be able to keep it without hurting my baby. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Angela! Yes, I still bleach my roots every month or so. My sister uses a very low volume (professional product) on me so it’s not as potent as some of the others out there. I wouldn’t suggest using a box from the grocery store. I researched quite a bit on the effects of bleaching your hair while pregnant because I too heard that it might be harmful. But there’s no evidence that the use of topically applied bleach increases the risk of birth defects in baby’s. Professional colors do not absorb through the skin.

    Kelli!!

You look amazing! Who says mamas cannot rock heels and short dresses when pregnant. (here’s a secret: I wore 4 and 1/2 inch heels everyday when I was pregnant with my first). I received your Dreamer’s Awake print in the mail. It arrived safely and is everything I had hoped. I need to now find the perfect frame and base my babe’s room decorating on it.

P.S. I know you say 8 more weeks but I think it may be a bit sooner. And you are right…bleaching does not effect bebe.

    MUAH!!

I don’t even understand how I finished up here, however I believed this put up used to be great. I don’t realize who you might be however certainly you are going to a well-known blogger in case you aren’t already. Cheers!
