RED VELVET

So it definitely has not been feeling like winter lately.  Although this outfit suggests otherwise.  These were taken a few weeks back (when it actually felt like winter), but I’m just now getting to blogging them.  As much as I love the warmth, I have to admit, I am a little sad to have to give up  scarves and sweaters.  Dressing for the cold is my favorite.  Not the cold weather, just the dressing for it part.  Ridiculous but true. But who am I kidding. Cold to me is 60 degrees.

Sam is in NY right now for work where it’s like 15 degrees.  Poor guy didn’t even bring a jacket…silly boy.  We California kids just don’t get it.  He’s been traveling more than ever for his job over the last few months…and honestly, I’m ready for him to be home to stay for a while.  It gets awful lonely and I swear, the house makes unusually scary noises when he’s away.  The other night I walked down stairs with a shoe in hand (yes, a high heeled shoe), thinking someone had opened our door.  I am sure if someone had really broke in that night, they would have won that fight for sure.  Anyway, last night was one of those nights of just really missing him… so I bought myself a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and got sucked into American Idol.  I have to say, it did help a little.

Aaaaaand. The winner of the Bonlook Giveaway is you miss Courtney Kennedy! Email me to claim your prize! xo.

Such a fun winter outfit! I love the fur head piece! Where is it from? I couldn’t imagine my hubby going away for work, I would be digging into the Ben & Jerry’s too! Hope it goes by fast & he comes home soon!

    Fur headband: Glorious.
I also love dressing for winter! It was 33C here today… so I unfortunately can’t really think in terms of layers and sweaters :(

I love this outfit. Everything’s perfect about and that fur head piece. So cute! It’s 9 degrees here in Buffalo, NY. So all I’m wearing are layer upon layers of warm stuff. I could do with about 30 degree weather and dress for that. That weather is fun to dress for!

I love the back of your dress and the colour.

My partner is working from home at the moment, and even if it makes me seem a bit mean, I’d love for him to not be here sometimes. We have nothing to say to each other in the evening over dinner, because we covered everything during the day xxx

Oh Natasha…I can understand how that could happen! Sometimes the separation during the day makes being together at night a little more special :)

The house definitely makes scary noises only when the mister is away at work. I’ve walked around the house with a butter knife before checking every single corner!

James my husband has been working away a fair bit lately, and I swear without my dog and cat I would be a wreck!

I had heard that Sam was travelling a lot. So not fun. Jason was gone pretty much all of November and I was so lonely! Next time he’s gone for a while, let’s plan a girl lunch or dinner or something…we’ll invite Shelby along too. :)
