Ace & Jig Crayon Play Dress // Zara shoes (similar) // Matador Hat

These photos were taken a little while ago, so don’t go thinking my bump is shrinking :)  As you’ve probably noticed….I’ve been pretty bad about keeping up here.  This pregnancy has thrown me a few curve balls along the way, the most recent being the return of my nausea and vomiting (bleh!).  It’s come on fast and furious and has left me feeling physically and emotionally drained.    I’m doing my best to keep up with work and be there for Ry, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a challenge.  At only 24 weeks I’m already longing for the end.  Sometimes I feel guilty that I don’t enjoy this process.  But when most of the day is spent feeling some form of sick, it’s honestly hard to enjoy anything.  I know things could be much worse, so I try to remember that and  keep positive by thinking about the baby boy I get to hold in the end of all of this.  Anyway, enough of my pregnancy woes…life is pretty good and I’m lucky I even get to do this, hard or not.  Hope you all have a restful weekend.  We have no plans, which are always the best kind of plans! xx

I adore this dress! I love how it looks with the wide brim hat and platform shoes. I’m sorry to hear you are having a tough time with the pregnancy, I hope it gets easier and that you feel better soon :)

    Take care,

I totally feel ya Kelli! Congrats, btw, on your new little on growing inside. SO excited for you. I’m just a few weeks ahead of you now (28 weeks) and I’m having TWINS this time around, which was definitely a shocker but exciting! I’m looking forward to the end because I feel like I’m already at 40 weeks with how fast and big I’m growing! haha. Like you said, just thinking of the outcome at the end helps a bit to stay positive. Rest up and give yourself lots of permission to take a break. You’re doing A LOT just by cooking that little one, let alone taking care of a toddler. I think thats what I have a hard time with the most, feeling like I’m not being productive when I “should” be, but then I’m reminded how much I’m doing physically just my being pregnant (along with taking care of an 8 month old) and so if resting is the most productive thing I can do in a day then that’s a good thing :) You’re a good mama, Kelli. Thanks for sharing your journey with the rest of us, the easy and the hard!

Thanks so much Coley! Your little bod is working double time cooking two little people in there! Glad we can be honest about the hard parts together :) It’s a tough job, this people making business! Much love to you girl.

You look lovely, as usual. I’m right with you on the up’s and down’s of this whole process. Once you think you’re in the clear and ready for that second trimester energy burst and glow (which I personally have yet to experience in either pregnancy), here comes the nasty vomiting and nausea again. You’re almost there. You’re doing a great job. xo
