WAITING ON FALL

Wearing: Ace & Jig Top and THVM denim via Loneflag / Maya ClogsSandgrens / Minnetonka Hat

Stroller: Stokke Xplory

Well, we are all melting here with this horrible heat wave going on right now.  This weather + no AC makes for one sweaty household.  Mid September and no sign of Fall at all.  I heard we are hitting records all around the county!  Blah.  I don’t think I’ve ever been more ready for sweaters and non-iced coffee drinks. This Ace & Jig blouse and THVM denim skinnies are great transitional pieces into the colder months ahead (hopefully coming sooner than later).    And I’m in love with my new Sandgrens clogs! I’ve been wanting a pair of Swedish clogs for a while now, and when I saw these, it was a done deal.  Classic, simple and versatile.

Over the last ten days since Cru’s arrival, we’ve mostly been cooped up at home….but we have made it out a few times and I’ve been able to try out my Stokke Xplory stroller.  So far, I’m absolutely in love with it.  Not just because I love what it looks like: clean, modern, with a beautiful melange charcoal fabric.  But also because of it’s features and functionality.  One of the things I love most is the elevated seat.  It allows you to be closer to baby, which helps them feel safe and secure.  The seat can easily be switched from facing outward, to facing inward (toward the parent).  I have it set up facing towards me with the seat in its fully reclined position.  The stroller comes with a padded infant insert as well, which is great for the first few months.  The handle bar can be adjusted to any height you want and the seat can be raised and lowered to your preference as well.  The Xplory was really easy to set up, and equally as simple to break down and put in my car.  Got to love a stroller that combines quality, style AND functionality!  I also got the riding board for Rylee to tag along….I can’t wait to try that out as well!

The Stokke looks great and sounds really functional. Has Cru inherited Rylee’s old car seat, or did you get a Stokke car seat as well?

Hi Kelli! Congrats on little Cru – he’s adorable! I’ve been following your blog/insta for some time now. Love seeing your journey! I’m due with my first in 11 days… So exciting!

I’m curious – where do you find all your adorable beanies and hats for Cru? I’m on the hunt. :)
