Fridays with Cru are my jam :) Monday through Thursday are mostly work days for me. So I am always looking forward to Fridays and weekends with the kids. Friday morning we drop Ry off at school at nine, and Cru and I have until 2:00 to do whatever we want together, just the two of us. It’s my favorite time with him because it’s usually unplanned. No agenda, no rushing around….which usually results in the best version of Cru :) He likes things done at his own pace, and well, I don’t blame him. We recently got the new Quinny Moodd stroller to try out and Cru might be just as into it as I am! It’s sleek design and easy functionality make it my favorite of the Quinny family. Plus, I love the unique color block design. The best feature is it’s automatic unfolding and easy folding. I have tried a fair share of strollers with my kids, and honestly, that feature is one of the most important. A stroller that is hard to open and close is a royal pain. This one just pops right up on it’s own with the flick of a lever, and I LOVE that. And Cru likes that handle bar that let’s him pretend like he is driving a race car. Win win.

God knew what I needed when He gave me Rylee. This girl literally lights up my life. There is something about her growing older that has brought us even closer. The way her mind works is so similar to my own, I often know what she is thinking before she even says it. Her sense of humor, her creative spirit, her tender heart….they mirror my own and it is the most amazing thing for me to experience as her mother. My love for her knows no bounds.
I asked her if we could take some photos together in our new matching tops…she is always so timid at first but in the end she’s always hamming it up. (again, just like I was at her age). I’m so in love with these matching lace tunics from Bell. So perfect for summer. Crisp white cotton detailed with delicate white lace. Rylee is in a stage right now where she LOVES matching with me. Anything I’m wearing, she wants to be in something similar. It’s not always MY favorite thing to dress matchy-matchy, but when she gets so excited about it, I can’t really say no! Especially when they are this cute ;) Happy early Mother’s Day to all you mamas out there.
